Summary

SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY WITH A SMIDGEN OF HOMICIDE

USA Today Bestselling author Tonya Kappes brings you southern and quirky characters in her mystery series。 Her stories are charged with humor, friendship, family and life in small southern towns。

Welcome to Normal where nothing is normal。 In the heart of the charming town of Normal, Kentucky, Mae West has patiently awaited her wedding day to Hank Sharp。 Friends and family gather, the crisp autumn air carries the scent of fallen leaves, and laughter dances through the warm Southern breeze。 Everything is set for a picture-perfect day, a celebration of love in a town nestled by the serene Daniel Boone National Forest。 But in the South, they say, " Mishaps at weddings are like the rain in April—unexpected but not unusual。 " Just as Mae is about to say her vows, a bolt of lightning struck。 The news hit like a tornado—literally—a young girl had been murdered, and a tornado has torn through the town, turning everything upside down, including the carefully laid wedding plans。

In a town where mysteries were as common as fireflies on an autumn night, Mae West and the Laundry Club ladies venture where others fear to tread, unearthing long-buried secrets and confronting a darkness that threatened to shatter the tranquility of their beloved Normal。

Another question is on everyone minds, will Mae and Hank finally tie the knot?

The main story was Mae and Hank’s wedding prep, setbacks, and triumphs with a little mystery sprinkled in。 The mystery of a missing girl, turned murder and some family secrets, this book may be one of my favorite adventures of Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies。

It’s finally time for the long awaited and meticulously planned wedding of the year! But Mother Nature does not cooperate, sending a tornado and a dead body。 Hank, Mae and all the Laundry Club Ladies pitch in to track down the killer。 This may be the best book in the series to date。 There is plenty of action, much sleuthing and a boatload of Southern Charm。 I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series。 I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a volu It’s finally time for the long awaited and meticulously planned wedding of the year! If my wedding plans went like Mae's and Hank's I would seriously consider not going through with them! My goodness! Seems that the cards are stacked against them。 Then even something worse happens! Great Read This is another fun story, very entertaining。 Mae and Hank are all set for their wedding when a tornado comes through their area。 And the missing girl that Hank has been looking for is found dead。 So, there's a murder to solve instead of going on a honeymoon。 This is an entertaining read that is hard to put down。 I highly recommend it and the series。 Great Read This is another fun story, very entertaining。 Mae and Hank are all set for their wedding when a tornado comes through their area。 And the missing girl that Hank has been looking for is found dead。 So, there's a murder to solve instead of going on a honeymoon。 This is an entertaining read that is hard to put down。 I highly recommend it and the series。 。。。more

Witness, Woods, & Wedding is the 33rd book in the Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery Series by Tonya Kappes where finally the wedding of Mae and Hank is going to hopefully happen! Another well-written page-turner that does just fine as a stand-alone on the off chance that you are not familiar with the series。 The characters are well developed enabling you to pick up from anywhere but, you'll love it so much (especially this book) you'll want to go back and start from the beginning。This installment has Mae and Hank finally taking their vows, but don't let that fool you into thinking there isn't plenty of action, twists and turns, and murder/dead body that are always the ce Another well-written page-turner that does just fine as a stand-alone on the off chance that you are not familiar with the series。 The characters are well developed enabling you to pick up from anywhere but, you'll love it so much (especially this book) you'll want to go back and start from the beginning。This installment has Mae and Hank finally taking their vows, but don't let that fool you into thinking there isn't plenty of action, twists and turns, and murder/dead body that are always the center of the story with the Laundry Ladies front and center! This is the 33rd book in this series; I’ve read and loved all the books in the series。 This book could stand alone, but it would be much, much better appreciated if you’ve read at least a few books in the series。 Hank and Mae are finally set to have a lovely outdoor fall wedding, but you know what they say about the best-laid plans…Mae and everyone have planned so very well, but you can’t control the weather or the timing of big developments in a missing person case that Hank has been working on This is the 33rd book in this series; I’ve read and loved all the books in the series。 This book could stand alone, but it would be much, much better appreciated if you’ve read at least a few books in the series。 Hank and Mae are finally set to have a lovely outdoor fall wedding, but you know what they say about the best-laid plans…Mae and everyone have planned so very well, but you can’t control the weather or the timing of big developments in a missing person case that Hank has been working on。 Good thing that they really only care about getting married and Mae is no bridezilla (nor is Hank a groomzilla。) Everything turns out ok in the end, including solving the missing person case, with the help of Mae and the other ladies in the laundry club。 The mystery was intriguing and it was fun to solve, but the main thing is, I’m just happy that the marriage finally happened! I was provided an arc, but these opinions are my own。 。。。more

An impending storm and subsequent tornado play a huge role in this book。 Will Mae and Hank be able to get married or will Mother Nature foil Mae’s wedding plans? It's finally time for Mae and Hank to get married。 But will a storm headed towards Normal, Kentucky and Hank working on a missing person case interfere with their plans? Wedding nuptials, family, and dear friends are what Mae and Hank were expecting before their nuptials。 But a missing case comes to the forefront。 There are numerous suspects and clues to investigate for Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies。 This story is fast paced, with plenty of twists, and a red herring which kept me turning pages faster than ever before! I highly recommend this story to anyone!

Well Mae’s wedding isn’t going as planned, everything that could go wrong is going wrong, when a tornado hits the town, but Dottie being Dottie pulls it off。But right after the wedding a body turns up, so there is no honeymoon until the mystery is solved and of course the laundry club ladies help。

I love this series! The southern vibe is so much fun! These characters are like good friends, only getting better with time! A tornado touches down in Normal! Will this cause Mae and Hank to not have their wedding? Also there is murder and mayhem!
